On her Saturday mornings, Ha Ho, the Refugee Center's Director of Client Services, serves immigrant children through our Saturday Morning Tutoring Program at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Urbana. Attendance averages 25-30 students, with a similar number of student volunteer tutors assisting Mrs. Ho.
Because of all she does, Mrs. Ha Ho was recently recognized for her years of outstanding service to the immigrant community by receiving a Community Impact Award from the Junior League of Champaign-Urbana.
